Hi, I've been a while away from gentoo, but recently came back from using fedora.
I'm trying to connect to the network at school, and while I seem to be able to get an IP address, I can't connect to the internet.
Code: |
# /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start
* Bringing up interface eth0
* dhcp ...
* Running dhcpcd ...
eth0: dhcpcd 4.0.7 starting
eth0: waiting for carrier
eth0: broadcasting for a lease
eth0: offered 199.74.71.93 from 129.105.49.10
eth0; checking 199.74.71.93 is available on attached networks
eth0: acknowledged 199.74.71.93 from 129.105.49.10
eth0: leased 199.74.71.93 from 172800 seconds
* recieved addres 199.74.71.93/24

See I get IP Address but can't Ping. _________________ Plants are pithy, brooks tend to babble--I'm content to lie between them.
