Hi all,
As described in the following, I lost my origional fstab. Could someone please tell me how to recreate it? Is there some way to infer the proper settings?

Well, you could do fdisk and take a peek and see if it jogs your memory about what you've got. If that doesn't help, trial and error will get you there eventually unless you used odd settings. You do remember what file system(s) you were using, right?
Before you blow anything away, take a look at your last boot log - should show you something useful.

Jeff,
Very cool. That helps a lot -- exactly what I needed.
