Experimenting with PXElinux some more, I decided to create one huge 120MB file consisting of a kernel and a compiled-in initramfs, the latter being a cpio image of some stage3. Where I have no problem with normal kernels, this time I get pxelinux saying

Code:
Could not find kernel image: /kernel-2.6.27

Why exactly is that? I see no transfer of the file, so is it the tftp server that can't handle the size?

I remember reading recently(somewhere in this forum) that the kernel image has to be <90M over tftp. You properly will have to move something not require during boot to module.
