This morning I've emerged these packages:
Code: | x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-180.22
sys-libs/gpm-1.20.5
net-im/skype-2.0.0.72
media-libs/openal-1.6.372
dev-lang/ruby-1.8.6_p287-r4
app-emulation/wine-1.1.13 |
And now mplayer gives me this:
Code: | ernestas@mercury ~ $ mplayer
mplayer: symbol lookup error: //usr//lib/opengl/nvidia/lib/libGL.so.1: undefined symbol: _nv000006gl
ernestas@mercury ~ $ |
There is the problem? |

Per this linuxquestions thread, try running
and find which library is is "not found", and post it in this thread.
Have you tried running revdep-rebuild? _________________ Gentoo is the stick-shift of Linux.
You work it manually, it has somewhat better performance, but it's really for the fun of it. |

Well, the problem seems to be with NVIDIA drivers. I've reemerged the older version, which works perfect. I think I'll remove nvidia-drivers from /etc/portage/package.keywords... |

How about installing the latest nvidia driver and then re-emerging MPlayer? |

Well, this really wouldn't be the answer to my problem - I'm getting the same error with lots of other applications like GkrellM2... It would take a lot of time to recompile everything. |
