GNOME: several workspaces and logging out

Say I have a gedit window on workspace 2 with some unsaved work. I am on workspace 1. I want to log out of my session, but the whole thing "freezes", i.e. on the other workspace, gedit is probably asking me a question that I cannot see nor answer. Why is that? It is of course very annoying.

Hi,

GNOME Bug 394961 – Logout freezes if modal window open in another workspace.
Confirmed here with gnome-session-2.22.3. Note that you can switch to the correct workspace with ctrl-alt-{left,right} (keyboard shortcuts), but this is just a workaround.

If someone who run =gnome-session-2.24* (or svn) can confirm that the bug is still present, we could bump it.
