For anyone who has the Netgear 311 NIC and the A7S333 mobo, you're gonna have problems. I experienced this last year when I bought my Asus board and couldn't figure out why the hell my second IDE controller wouldn't work. I spent hours changing around my hardware config and nothing worked, so I googled around for some info on the board's 2nd IDE controller having problems and found that has an IRQ that conflicts with the Netgear 311 NIC (not sure about the 310). Luckily I had a 3com from an older box that I'd forgotten about in the closet. |

sorry to bring this up so late..but i had the same problems, i spent a whole week trying to figure this out, then i checked some forums and i had to get another nic. there many problems with this board that it doesnt deserve to be sold!. Another thing you should know is that if you have a pci video card then you will have lots of problems with onboard sound! . So if you are planing to get one then forget it.....however cheap. . No good support from asus either.
