|
|
Noatun seems to play mp3s fine, yet when I try to play an mp3 with XMMS it hangs right after I hit the play button, no error or anything.. I xkill-ed it.
I haven't got the chance to try otherfiletypes with it yet, but I was wondering if anyone has a solution if this is yet another uber-n00b problem?
[Solved] by killing the aRts server before starting up XMMS. _________________ "Microsoft Palladium: where will we allow you to go today?"

I tried manually compiling the arts plugin for xmms but it needs the xmms development headers; which I only found as RPMs.
I'm stumped.. _________________ "Microsoft Palladium: where will we allow you to go today?"

I suppose that's why it was masked. Any ideas on getting the arts plugin? _________________ "Microsoft Palladium: where will we allow you to go today?" |
