|

Hi there
I'm using vim as my manpager and there seems to be an issue with the formatting depending on the width of my terminal
The terminal in question is rxvt-unicode. ( Window manager is DWM - not sure if that's relevant. )
Here's two screenshots to show the difference in the formatting I'm talking about:

http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~goldfish/bad.png
I have noticed it is depending on the width of the terminal, if I make it slightly larger than that of the 'bad' example, it formats fine.
I have tried to google, but haven't had much luck, I'm not sure if this is vim's, urxvt's or whatever's fault.
Anybody getting similar behaviour to this .. know exactly what the issue is?
And hopefully any solutions?
Thanks in advance. |

Turn off line wrapping globally for vim or, when you see the problem, issue the ":set nowrap" command. I haven't tried this by the way, but it is the default line wrapping behavior of vim that is causing your problem. _________________
