i have a dell inspiron 4000 with gentoo and an ati m3 card (8 or 16 meg???) X works fine, and looks nice at 1024x768 but no games run very well
any 3d screensaver seems to go about 5 fps
and games are slow as hell (not playable at all -- cant even get through menus) x is fine and fast though -- what gives?? |

| o yea -- i have support for ati rage and radeon in my kernel, but i cant find m3 (o yea -- it is 8 meg) fb support craps out; i get all these little glitches, otherwise it looks nice.... i still cant find kernel support for m3 though -- maybe thats the prob |
