Ciao ragazzi... ho ancora bisogno di voi.
Putroppo ho sempre usato distribuzioni linux stile "avanti avanti avanti" tipo red hat e ora ho un problema che non so risolvere.
Sul portatile ho la necessità di usare gphoto2 per scaricare le foto digitali da una kodak dx3900. Ebbene... mentre con le altre distro l'usb era già configurato qui mi trovo spiazzato. Usbview mi riconosce correttamente la perferica pero' con "gphoto2 --list-ports" non viene visualizzata l'opzione usb per la variabile --port. Come posso fare?

non ho mai usato gphoto2, la mia macchina si monta come un disco rimovibile. (la tua non credo)
tanto per dire qualcosa, hai dato un gphoto2 --auto-detect ? |

Certo... e non mi trova niente. Pero' sono sicuro che con la mia cam vada perch' su r.h. funziona |

si, intendevo che la tua non si montava come un disco.
dal sito di gphoto2 si può arrivare quì http://www.teaser.fr/~hfiguiere/linux/digicam.html
la tua funziona in effetti con gphoto2 |

Se faccio da shell un mount trovo:
none on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw)
non dovrebbe essere usbdevfs? |

STORAGE modulo
In teoria non dovrebbe fargli niente... non e' cosi? |

Su r.h. il mount lo faccio da /dev/sd1 ma qui non lo trovo.

perche' non e' detto che sia su /dev/sdb1. Inserisci la macchina alla porta usb e poi lancia il comando
dmesg che ti dovrebbe dire che a trovato una periferica usb e ti dice anche su che device e'
connessa. |

Inserisci sd e sg_mod.
Fai dmesg e dicci cosa riporta (le ultime 15 righe dovrebbero bastare).
