Hi there,

This is not a matter of importance but i have the doubt. I can't set the date or time via the Time Settings button from the date & time applet from gnome.

image looks like this

Did I miss a flag or something?

Thanks in advance,

Why not to use just the old plain date command in a terminal?
Code:
date 020222462009

You can set /etc/conf.d/clock to:
Code:
CLOCK_SYSTOHC="yes"

So it will sync the hw clock upon a shutdown or reboot.

Also, emerging net-misc/ntp wont hurt, so you can add ntp-client service to the default runlevel and forgot of setting up the date/time again in your life.

Sorry, i don't use gnome, if a button there doesn't work, i can't help you.

Saludos!

Yes, I use that. As I said before it was a doubt I have on why that button is disabled. It means that something is not completely well configured.

Thanks anyway :)

Saludos!
