hi,

i cannot install nvidia-drivers due to this strange error: http://wklej.org/id/47965/
can you tell me if there is any working solution as i was looking for it on this forum and googled for it and havent found anything helpful...

Kernel is 2.6.28-zen7 (compiled, installed, booted).

use SLUB not SLQB allocator

Maybe that can help, but i'm using SLQB with 2.6.28-zen5, nvidia driver version 180.27..
Try to clean old nvidia drivers & modules.. I passed an error like that. But i can't remember completely :)

it's fresh installation.. no nvidia-drivers on my system...
there was no kernel... i emerged 2.6.28-zen7, configured, compiled, installed...

Just made make mrproper and rebuild kernel... Did not help

did you try SLUB instead of SLQB allocator? or you think
you shouldn't give it a try? your .config says you are using SLQB. nvidia is not going
to install with that. maybe zen5 is the best kernel for seqizz but zen5 is old.
up till zen6 you could use slqb and nvidia would install from zen7 nvidia
wont install with slqb. you can see the zen thread.
