KDE 4.2+Radeon 9200=freeze on startup

Hello, I have Athlon 2600+ with 1GB RAM and Radeon 9200. Motherboard ECS K7VTA3. After installin KDE-4.2 system hangs up on KDE splash screen. After switching to TWM X session kwin --replace do the same, cursor changes in black square and computer hangs. I can only do hard reset. After hashing Option Composite Enable in xorg.conf system works fine but I can't enable desktop effects. Compiz with KDE 3.5.9 works fine for me with LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 compiz --replace...... What can I do to enable desktop effects?
