im not sure why, but ever since i upgraded to openoffice-bin 3, whenever i try to launch the app...it just freezes! anyone know of a fix...thanks in advance.

you could try the compiled version... it works good for me

thanks for the tip.....i did go ahead and compiled openoffice and still experiencing the same problems. Im going to unmerge it and emerge openoffice-bin and see how that goes.
