Apache seems to not be running so i went to system===>administration===> and expected to find "services" which is how in the past i was able to re-start the service and "services" is not there? not sure where it went. running gnome 2.22....any advise will be appreciated, thanks. _________________ Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P Motherboard

I don't gnome, so I'll give it you "text-style"
If I wanna know if apache is running, I do
Code: | ps fax | grep apache2 |
And to change it's status, I use
Code: | /etc/init.d/apache start|stop|restart |

And do you seriously use X on root? |
