Nautilus shows a mounted directory more than once

Does anyone else have a problem with the Nautilus 2.2.x series with it showing multiple mounted directories on the desktop? If I mount /mnt/dvd for example, I see a CDROM and a CDROM(2) entry on my desktop. One can be removed by unmounting, the other sticks around. If I mount again, I get CDROM, CDROM(2), and CDROM(3). I can't get rid of these unless I logout. Any solutions?
