I just setup the antenna situation here quite a bit better than it was before - grabbing ATSC from NYC (about 40 miles away - solid signals on the channels I care about, save WNET of course )
Previously, getting the weaker stations from philadelphia, I was basically forced to use getatsc with mplayer (better handling of broken streams), and only during certain times of the day.
Well, now I can actually use kaffeine's dvb features! It scanned through the channels fine (for the first time - kaffeine has never been able to scan for me before...), and gave me a list of channels - all of which work.
I'd *really* like to get EPG working (I've spent weeks last summer writing simple programs to try and do it myself, after seeing that even kaffeine was failing for philadelphia - I thought maybe it would start working now...), any ideas? success stories?
I have a wintv-hvr-950, em2880 drivers, if it matters. _________________ iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAA
