I have a targus usb port replicator. I haven't had a chance to test it out on gentoo yet, but I wanted to know how well gentoo/linux handles port replicators.
Will it see the mouse and keyboard connected through the port replicator just as normal usb mouse and keyboard?
I there any kernel support for this or any port replicators.
If anyone has any useful info or tips concerning port replicators, Please post. Have you had success getting yours setup?
I'll give an update once i test mine out.
Thanks! _________________ Long live the gentoo forums!!!!! |

I use knoppix a lot to test linux compatability of hardware. I figure if it auto configures in knoppix then it's pretty much "linux compatable" Worst case scenario, I can see how knoppix enabled the device and copy the settings and merge them into another system. |
