Annoying error message in mc...

Hi, ppl.
Just installed mc on fresh system and trying to edit any file in mc (F4), I have this error message:
Load syntax file
Cannot open file /root/.mc/cedit/Syntax
No such file or directory (2)
I never had this error before. :roll:

What's wrong ?

Try (re)moving the .mc directory away. Then restart mc.

It doesn't help... :cry:

I used to use ext3 as a root filesystem, but this time I decied to try reiserfs. Could be this a problem ?

I don't have a "Syntax" file in my .mc dir. Does it work if you just touch the file?

After hiting "Enter" this red window with error message disappears and I can edit and save file... But it's annoying... :roll:
