|
|
Hi,
I get errors when system is starting up and loading modules but it goes too fast and I can't see what's the error.
Can't find anything either in dmesg or /var/log/messages, where can I find what happens during start up?
Thank you. _________________ Powered by Gentoo Linux since 2003

Turn on rc logging.
If you have baselayout-2 and openrc, simply enable it in /etc/rc.conf and you get rc output logged to /var/log/rc.log

I'd rather continue working with stable arch hence openrc is masked and not installed.
Isn't there any other way?

For baselayout-1 there is the app-admin/showconsole hack. _________________ http://proaudio.tuxfamily.org/wiki - pro-audio software overlay

Aha! Good to know, thanks.
It was just telling me that I had to run "update-modules force".
