hi there,
I am setting up a wireless router in a frat house and was wondering if there was a was to limit the bandwidth used by each person. And possibly change it if a person wants to pay more per month (of bandwidth)
Does anyone know of wireless routers that have this capability? |

The best solution I can think of is to install a wireless PCI card in a linux box and put it in "master" (access point) mode. You'll have full control over all traffic that way.
You'll need to configure it as a router. But you'll be able to use accounting, etc. |

isn't the range of these cards kinda limited?
do you know of any that take antennas so that the signal they transmit can be boosted? |
