|

Very strange, [CTRL]+[C] keys commbination don't stop any process. I can see "^C" in console, but nothing happend
Code: | m1k0@laptok /opt/etqw $ emerge -avuDN dbus
^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^Csuperuser access is required... adding --pretend to options.
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies \ /^C -^C \^C |^C /^C^C -^C |
| |^C -^C /^C \^C -^C^C^C |^C - /^C \^C -^C |^C -^C^C |^C^C -
... done!
Total: 0 packages, Size of downloads: 0 kB
m1k0@laptok /opt/etqw $
|
From raw term ([ALT]+[CTRL]+[F1]), [CTRL]+[C] works very well. _________________ MSI GX-70

Had same problem and the solution worked for me too.
Ahh I love these forums, as I see it you're all just a bunch of huge throbbing brains available at my command whenever a problem occur with my install, and you never fail me. _________________ Gentoo | AMD X2 3800+ 2GB RAM | Kernel 2.6.30 . Thank you very much for this info. Not only was Ctrl+C not working, closing sessions and programs like boinc or even cryptsetup didn't work either. |
