issues with the prism2_cs module in the 1.4 LiveCD

I'm using a D-Link DWL-650 card. The card is part of the d-link bundle that contains a pcmcia->pci bridge card. That card uses the Ricoh chipset.
When I start pcmcia the system just hangs until I eject the dlink card. Re-inserting the card will cause the same behavior. Unfortunately, I don't have a wired connection going to that machine so I can't test if it's just the interface that's hung, or the system in general.

However, I am able to use the stage3 tarball to build a kernel, and then re-build linux-wlan-ng and things will work after rebooting. I had
hoped to start from stage1, but really don't care that much as long as things work. Anyone else have the same problem or have any ideas? Just for future reference I guess since things are working now.

Same card here, same hangs here, GentooBox wich drivers did you use?

I tried to no avail with hostap 0.0.4 and the linux-wlan-ng but nothing it keeps crashing..

Ok I lied, it looks like it's working, but if I switch on the AP the computer then freezes..
