the virtual console, Firefox and Thunar shows a lot of �s in file/folder names, in place of e.g. º, ¢, Þ, Ħ, ø, å, ³ and £. any help? |

I don't know how to check what font I am using in either. in fx it's lucida typewriter but I think that's only for web sites. I deleted the locale file because it f-ed up everything. now at least konqueror and yakuake and konsole and whatever displays the glyphs properly. encoding is utf-8. |
