I have recently install about 2000 fonts... I thought everything was ok, but I noticed when I logged back in to KDE, my konsole font did not stick. So I go to configure and fonts... Konsole crashes and does not tell me anything useful. KControl has no problem accessing the fonts, nor does anything else that I can tell.

Anything I can try? Or is there a way / script to test all the fonts and remove any troublemakers?

Thanks!

A little more background... I had an x session running on the console, and while this was open, I was running an nx session on a remote machine, this is where I configured most of the changes. I also emerged the gtk-engines-qt package from that session. I terminated it and started a new session, the changes stuck. I left that session open and terminated the session at the console, then the nx session.

When I restarted the session at the console, that is when I noticed the problem. starting an nx session is using the same settings as the console session. The kde desktop fonts stuck, most of them at least. I would reconfigure the fonts and settings but the gtk-engines-qt does not appear to be working anymore and konsole crashes when I try to modify the fonts.
