Helloo..
The problem is that I have two monitors. They are both connected to the same graphic card with dvi.
Actually an lcd display and a projector to be accurate. I don't know if it has any relevance though.
Well anyways when I start the computer the bootloader is always shown on the projector and not on my normal display. It is quite annoying as I don't use my projector very often.
And I've noticed that it doesn't matter in which dvi-slot the displays are as the bootloader always shows only on the projector.
So the answer is, is grub capable of choosing on which display the bootloader is shown? If it is possible could someone point me on the right tracks for resolving the problem?
Thanks alot in advance.

I don't think it's related to Grub in fact. I used to see my boot on both my monitors and after upgrading my graphic card it started to be like that, it seems my graphic card (gtx280) just prefer my 30" over my 24", whatever I do. _________________ "Please, forgive my bad English"

Is it really a thing that has no solution? I can't believe this hasn't been anybodys issue before.
Actually my earlier graphics card did the exact same thing. it always put the projector as the primary display.
And both were nvidia geforce cards.
Actually now that im thinking, do different cables have some priorities (vga over dvi or such) because as the projector is in the graphics card dvi slot it still is a vga cable with an adaptor - dvi -> vga .
as like this [videocards dvi-slot] -> [dvi-vga-adapter] -> [vga cable] -> [projector].
I think I wouldn't understand the explanation my self..
Well I don't know what to do anymore.
If someone has any ideas, please share them.
Thanks to all
