Howdie,
trying to update world this morning I get
Code: | [blocks B ] <kde-base/plasma-workspace-4.2.1:4.2[kdeprefix] ("<kde-base/plasma-workspace-4.2.1:4.2[kdeprefix]" is blocking kde-base/kdebase-desktoptheme-4.2.1)
[blocks B ] <kde-base/ksmserver-4.2.1:4.2[kdeprefix] ("<kde-base/ksmserver-4.2.1:4.2[kdeprefix]" is blocking kde-base/kcontrol-4.2.1)
|
I hate blocks, I never really know what to do. I read the handbook on gentoo, org but it suggests to update the blocking package, but a simple
Code: | emerge plasma-workspace | would only reemerge it in version 4.2, which barely seems helpful..
So, any pointers? |

Hi
I had the same problem. Just done emerge -C plasma-worksapce before upgrading all kde-things to 4.2.1.
And it is quite OK now. (Apart from that silly 48x48 mouse cursor :-/ )

I tried that too, but plasma-workspace-4.2 get's pulled in in the middle of the update and then... blocks the 4.2.1..
I did NOT try to unmerge everything that pulls plasma-workspace in, but that seems a bit overkill anyway.. |
