Uhh...is it just me or does it look like Randy Sofia is giving us the bird with his concealed hand in Figure 1.3? Hope I don't offend, but it seemed slightly humourous, and I was really curious....

As anyone can tell from Figure 1.2, Randy isn't really a developer for gentoo as much as he is a slave. He was forced to draw the pretty pictures on all the new CDs by hand the week before LinuxWorld Expo. He's also required to double check every ebuild on every architecture by visually inspecting and verifying the compile process. If he fails in his tasks, his entire family will be skinned alive, blended into a milkshake, and fed to him along with 2 gallons of Nutella.

He actually looks quite happy in fig1.2. Probably he's just sad that he can't be behind his Gentoo running laptop. Seemant Kulleen is also having a hard time without his precious distro, but his situation is slightly less worse than Randy's. |
