So after quite a bit of searching around (on and off for a few weeks)...I have finally figured out why VirtualBox 2.1.4 only showed blank screens.
I turned off the video flag for libsdl which caused VirtualBox to stop displaying video. If you are in a bind, you can use

VirtualBox -rmode image -startvm VM_NAME

to start the virtual machine. _________________ One person shits their pants and everyone has to wears diapers.
