Hi,
I'm trying to run etqw-rthread, but it doesn't seem to use two threads : the cpu graphs looks like the same. With an Intel Core2 E6600, is it possible that is powerful enough so I can't see any difference (even in graphs) ?
EDIT : Which would make sense, since the bottleneck is certainly the GPU here. But still I wonder why I don't see _any_ difference in my monitoring graphs.
Regards,

Hello MaximeG,
Have you tried setting this from the command line, or in your config file?
Code: | +set r_useThreadedRenderer "2" |

Hi,
Yes I did.
Now, I don't expect the frame rate to increase, I'm playing with full details in 1680x1050 so I'll be stuck until I change my graphic card ^^. I'm just curious about the graph.
Regards,

I would say you are more CPU-bound then anything.
threadedrender only really gives decent boost on quad systems _________________

Hi,
I'm afraid I disagree.
At such resolutions, only the GPU counts do determine the framerate. And actually my CPU is peaking at 40% (and doesn't waste time to access disk) while playing at ETQW, I don't think my CPU is really the bottleneck here.
