I want to enable 24-bit sampling on my external X-Fi. The internal Conexant chip doesn't have any problems with this, but when I plug my X-Fi in I get this:
Quote: | Mar 26 09:22:48 thinkpad pulseaudio[12678]: alsa-util.c: Device front:1 doesn't support sample format s32le, changed to s16le.

I've told dmix to use 96 kHz sampling with S32LE samples. _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.
