Hello everyone
I have a strange problem which has presumably something to do with ssl. When I try to commit something via svn I get:
Code: | AES-128 test encryption failed.
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: OPTIONS of 'https://...': SSL negotiation failed: SSL alert received: Bad record MAC (https://...) |
Furthermore I can't connect to my wep-secured wireless network at home.
I re-emerged openssl but that didn't help and now I'm stuck. I hope you can help me.
Here is my emerge --info:
Code: |

I switched from ipw3945 to iwl3945 some time before the problem occured. My wireless-device switched its name from eth1 to wlan0 and I have no initscript for wlan0. NetworkManager was able to connect to the wireless network so I thought the initscript was not needed. However, when I move /etc/init.d/net.eth1 to /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 I still get the same errors. |

Looks more like you have a kernel issue, specifically with the Cryptographic API section of the kernel. To test this theory, go to the Cryptographic API section, and turn everything on...or make them all modules. Recompile the kernel, and then try again.
Blessed be!

I made all items in the cryptographic api as modules but still have the same problems. I don't think it is a kernel issue since I was able to recompile openssl. |
