New convert

Hi everybody,

I Just wanted to tell you all how grateful I am for this forum. I've been using Mandrake but I felt I needed something "not so dumbed down", so I decided to try Gentoo. My system is up and running now without a glitch and I haven't really had any problems thanks this forum!

The forums are part of what makes Gentoo great... Also the IRC channels on irc.freenode.net - the main one is #gentoo, there is a link off the main site listing their channels.

I have to second that

Gentoo users are awesome!
And I have to give mad props to the admins and mods; I have never had to post because the answer has always been waiting for me on the forums. I know that takes work and dedication, and I appreciate it (now if I could only get some of the other n00bs to search).
