hi.. I have some serious trouble getting my irc,icq,msn traffic to run through a proxy...
the reason is that the proxy here which I need to use to get online only accepts a few ports.. and 5190, 1863, and 6667 aren't among them! :S
so can I get my chat apps to run through e.g. port 80? or is there some sort of bouncer service available somewhere?
it's a squid proxy.. I've been told.. so maybe there's some way to cheat it?

ok... got icq running..
I use Gaim... changed server to icq.login.com and used port 443 which logically enough is allowed by the fw...
just gotta figure out msn and irc now

irc is impossible
and msn only works with wind0ze box and msn 6.0.... cuz it has some strange "I'll connect trough anything function".. some1 outta convert that to linux... for gaim or something 
until then my lappie has to run ms wind0ze :S
