Hallo,
ich habe ein Problem mit meinem Gentoo. Gleich vorweg: ich habe fast keine Ahnung von Linux. Also: Ich boote, dann kommt

/dev/hdc2 is mounted
fsck failed, manual repair needed

(oder ugf. so, weiß jetzt nicht den Wortlaut). Meine fstab sieht so aus:

/dev/hdc2 / ext2 noatime 0 1

versuch mal
emerge media-video/nvidia-kernel
Der Fehler tritt auf weil das Modul nicht zu deinem Kernel passt
Falls der Fehler weiter auftritt solltest du ueberpruefen ob /usr/src/linux auf deinen aktuellen kernelsource zeigt

die Partition kann nicht getestet werden weil sie schon mounted ist ... scheint ein nicht-kritischer Fehler zu sein, ich weiss nicht wo der herkommt... |

das emerge media-video/nvidia-kernel habe ich schon gemacht. wenn ich kde starte, kommt allerdings vorher der nvivida- screen, also scheint da ja scheinbar schon was geladen zu werden. wie sehe ich denn, wohin /usr/src/linux zeigt und wohin muss es denn zeien? (wie gesagt- bin linux- anfänger) |

also funkitoniert das NVidia-Modul. kann sein dass das ein Ueberbleibsel ist, irgendwann wurde das von NVDriver zu Nvidia umbenannt ...
ich denke den Fehler kannst du getrost ignorieren.
zum Kernel:
ln -s /usr/src sollte dir zeigen wohin der kernel verlinkt ist
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 Aug 14 22:09 linux -> /usr/src/linux-2.6.0-test3
ist die relevante Zeile, wie du siehst benutze ich 2.6.0 |

Am besten bootest Du mal von der livecd und führst ein e2fsck /dev/hdc2 aus. Das könnte obiges Problem lösen.

das Problem steht direkt in der fstab drin:

/dev/hdc2 / ext2 noatime 0 1
|
Es wurde 2x /dev/hdc2 angegeben!!!
Hast Du / und /boot auf einer Partition?

Dann brauchst du keinen extra Eintrag für die /boot Partition in der /etc/fstab... |
