Hello!

After a complete rebuild of my system with gcc-4.3.2 I get the following error message when trying to compile for instance fluxbox using icc:
Code:
/opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom)
/opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom)
/opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom)
/opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom)
/opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom)
/opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom: /usr/lib32/libstdc++.so.5: no version information available (required by /opt/intel/cce/10.0.026/bin/mcpcom)

i have reinstalled both icc and libstdc++-v3, but the error still shows up and the compile fails.

Code:

This bug has been out for awhile I think, but there are some interim fixes: see https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259403

Thanks for the tip! I was able to solve my problem with the fixes mentioned in tge bug.

I really need to learn to search Bugzilla as well when I run into problems...
