Now this is not what I saw the first time I built this machine up so I'm a little worried... not to mention that I can't actually do anything! I can't use any of the boot options it suggests, and this exact CD works in other PCs and worked once before in this laptop!

One thing to note, this is a new hdd...

Can someone please help? I was sooo looking forward to expanding from a 3Gb drive to a 30Gb drive!
