is it supposed to take longer than a day to emerge KDE?
I'm emerging it on a p2 350 with 128 mgs of ram over a cable modem so probably not the fastest machine but still... |

On my Athlon 1400 with 512 MB it took more then 6 hours. So I assume: Yes... |

on that machine.. it will take that long
Its not really worth installing on there.. you might want to try a *box WM instead |

You're right, it probably isn't worth having kde on this machine. Can I stop it and somehow get everything off of it? is there a way to "un emerge" packages? |
