Can I use my HP DVD+RW burner under KDE to burn DVD-r's in a gui-like program-frontend?
I enables generic scsi support, emerged cdr-tools, dvdr-tools (which I can't find).
In k3b setup it lists the following as checked:
cdrdao, cdrecord, mkisofs, tccat, tcdecode, tcextract, tcprobe, tcscan, transcode.
When I click next it doesn't find the writer, but only lists it as the reader.
Manually adding the /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 doesn't work.
Thanks in advance. |

Has anyone managed to accomplish this, I'm having problems to. The cdrom that i had in place before hand was found, but after replacing it with the 300i it now skips over it (upon viewing of dmesg). It is seen in the bios.
Any ideas/ |
