Hi Folks,
I have a general question. I just built a Intel Core 2 Quad box with a Q9400.
I have an Asus P5Q Motherboard. It looks like I cannot get the machine to shut down unless I hold the power buttion down for several seconds.
Any time I shut down from Gentoo, everything stops and then starts back up again. Same thing happens when I just hit the power button.
Any ideas? |

Check your bios and or jumpers on your motherboard, the wiring to the power button could also be sent to reset and vice versa or just wrong in general. _________________ Gankfest™ (>")> ~*

Can you clarify your comment on the power button wiring? |
