Hi All:
i plug in my blackberry so that I can charge it from my laptop using barry v0.14 and idev goes to 99% on one core and 38% on the other.
My system:
jerinkturion linux # uname -a
Linux jerinkturion 2.6.27-gentoo-r8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 12 14:44:23 SGT 2009 x86_64 AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
This has been an off and one problem. I unplug the BB and it stays at 99% until I kill udevd.
Any ideas on this one?
the BB is correctly identifies in the syslog.

This was solved with my daily emerge --deep --update system job.
The problem just went away when udev got updated.
