Hi,
I'm looking ebuild for the newes version of PHP 5.3 - RC1.
I found ebuild for alpha versions and it also works for beta, but when trying to customize it for RC1 then it fails...
I would be very thankful i anyone could post working php 5.3 rc1 ebuild

Perhaps the community could help you get yours working, and then we could all use it?
What errors are you seeing?

maybe the sed assumes something that is no longer true - try yanking gentoo's comments, then maybe it'll build?

also, can I see what you're doing, your emerge commands or whatever? I'll try to tinker with it some, if only to get it running on my own server.

Is anyone seriously working on a PHP 5.3.0 ebuild (or has an ebuild that works with the current SVN)? The stuff from usrportage.de hasnt been touched in 5 months and doesnt really work.
