I'm looking for an email program that can retrieve messages from Hotmail.com (like outlook express) . I have tried Mozilla mail and Evolution 1.4, but neither can do Http based email. Any suggestions ?

Actually, you don't even need qpkg... straight 'emerge search' will do searches for you... quite handy! |

You don't need a graphical frontend, it's supposed to work in the background. You just set it to run when you want it(cron?) or run it by hand(it's configuration is self explanatory) and then read the mail you get. I've been using it for ages. It's worth subscribing to the mailing list though because when hotmail change their format it breaks, so you need to be up to date _________________ "...you might as well skip the Xmas celebration completely, and instead sit in front of your linux computer playing with the all-new-and-improved linux kernel version."

I personally have found hotwayd more reliable than gotmail over the last few months.. both are decent though |
