Hi! i finally got my TV Card working with audio and tvtime (hooray!) Unfortunately, the audio is uber-distorted and mono (just left speaker)
i have absolutely no idea on how to fix this. my TV-Card is plugged into my (onboard) soundcard's CD-Audio port. i can use alsamixer to turn the volume up and won but it is always horribly distorted and loud. any ideas as to how to fix the sound? after taht... i got to work on getting a pvr to work (mythtv is looking nice)
thanks for help! _________________ see gentoo differently... --> [[gui tools for gentoo linux]]<-- |

I don't really know if this will make a difference, but my TV card had a "loop back" cord that connected to an audio out of the TV card and into my sound card's input. This has worked very well for me.
I have installed MythTV and it is really nice. Unfortunately, my computer isn't quite up to snuff to use it, so I am sticking with tvtime for now. _________________ Life is too short and too important to { take seriously | use Windows }. |
