|
|
hello,
I have mol working on an ibook2 500mhz with 2.4.19-r6. I can now start up os9.1 and it works and looks good, until it is loaded. At this point the whole window containing the os9 desktop gets a green tint, and displays about three shades of green, a very ugly looking display.
If I change the colors in the mac control panel from millions to 256, then the display looks normal, (although 256 colors just really doesn't look that good).
I have tweeked the options in the config file in every way that I can possibly think, to no success.
Thanks in advance.

What cfolor depth are you running at in X (or console wherever you are running it from).. sounds like a mismatch |

The color depth is set the same on both and I have tried different variations of this too. I upgraded today to the new version and still the same problem, so I assume it has something to do with my X configuration. I will play around with it some more and see but any suggestions would help. I think I will try running it on the console.
thanks,

In your Screen section, try adding "DefaultDepth 24". _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |
