Need help with Apache Chroot and Vhosts

I'm can't seem to figure out the correct incantation to get this to work with the new Apache ChrootDir directive. I used to have this working nicely with mod_chroot.

Does anyone have the native Apache Chroot running and using Vhosts?

Do you have full paths to vhost DocumentRoots and Directory statements in the vhost.conf?

Do you run the ChrootDir directive in httpd.conf before or after the call to load the vhost module?
