Dear community,
When I create a new user on my system, he won't be able to logon to his webmail account.
I'm running postfix-2.5.5 with courier-imap-4.0.6-r3. My webmail systems are SquirrelMail and RoundCube.
The current users CAN login and read their mail. When I send an email to a 'new user' he do get the e-mail in ".maildir".
Is there an error in the authentication somewhere?
Thank you very much!

Maybe this helps;
Code: | Apr 27 18:11:06 [authdaemond] pam_unix(imap:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty= ruser= rhost= user=testje
|
In /var/log/everything/current. _________________ Where to? Gentoo! |

My /etc/pam.d/imap, maybe this isn't correct?
Code: | # Provided by mailbase (dont remove this line!)
# Standard pam.d file for mail service packages.
# $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/net-mail/mailbase/files/common-pamd-include,v 1.1 2005/04/29 13:07:50 ticho Exp $
auth required pam_nologin.so
auth include system-auth
account include system-auth
session include system-auth

Problem solved after a reboot. Welcome to Windows or something?
Anyway, thank you for helping me out! _________________ Where to? Gentoo! |
