hi everyone!
i just installed gentoo linux on an older p2 300 system (lx chipset) and everything is working well. i wanna use the system as an "everything-server" which sits in a corner doing its work , so it does not have a keyboard, mice, screen etc. 'cause it is very annoying to have to use another computer to shutdown the server via ssh, i want to execute "shutdown -h now" when pressing the power button of the server. 'cause its not the newest system i am using apm. (haven't tried acpi, but i think this won't work)
so...what do i have to do to shutdown the system properly when pressing the power button?
thanks for help!
