CUPS shows broken urls in browser

Hi,

when i try to configure my printers i have the following problem:

Adding a printer uses the url https://::1/admin/?op=set-printer-options&printer_name=lex,
and this works.

But when i see my printers in http://localhost:631/printers/, and i choose to configure one, then the browser (FF 3.1 b3) shows:
https://::1/admin/?op=set-printer-options&printer_name=lex,

so i have manually set it to
https://localhost:631/admin/?op=set-printer-options&printer_name=lex

What is going on there?? CUPS is 1.3...

Hi appelgebak,

this is an issue with IPv6-Adresses and parsing them. Got the same with an old Wiki, which i use sometimes for testing.. Actually i dont know how to fix this.. but it could help, if you put the IPv6-Adress into "[" and "]".

http://[::1]:631

Damn, this bulletin board has issues to linking IPv6 with bracket`s....
