Hey an alle,
Ich habe vor kurzem Gentoo zu Debian und WinXP installiert, jedoch startet Gentoo nicht, ich habe schon im Netz und im Forum gesucht jedoch nichts passendes gefunden!
Hier meine menu.lst (bzw. grub.conf):
default=0
timeout=30
title=Gentoo
root (hd0,5)
kernel (hd0,5)/boot/gentoo root=/dev/hda4 vga=791
title=Debian
root (hd0,5)
kernel (hd0,5)/boot/debian root=/dev/hda8 vga=791
title=Windows
root (hd0,0)
chainloader (hd0,0)+1
FDISK:
DEVICE ID SYSTEM
/dev/hda1 7 HPDS/NTFS
/dev/hda2 f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda4 83 LINUX (GENTOO)
/dev/hda5 b Win95 FAT32
/dev/hda6 83 LINUX (/BOOT)
/dev/hda7 82 SWAP
/dev/hda8 83 LINUX (DEBIAN)
Wenn Grub startet steht jedoch nur folgendes dort:
Debian
Windows
Wie kann ich es bewerkstelligen, damit ich Gentoo auch im Grub-Menü sehe?
Wäre sehr dankbar für Eure Hilfe

| Vielleicht mag es die doppelt benutzte Boot-Partition nicht? Ich würd es mal mit eigener Boot-Partition bzw. /boot in der Root-Partition versuchen. |

| Zum Testen, ob das die Ursache ist, würd ich einfach mal die Gentoo- und Debian-Einträge vertauschen (dann sollte wohl Debian fehlen). |
